Dungeons and Dragons Character Reference Sheet - Nettle Cinderless

With the development of lockdown, I decided to re-introduce myself to Dungeons and Dragons. With that, came the creation of new characters and designs. Here is the overall character concept of my Wizard Tiefling, Nettle. This character concept includes linework, colour palettes and the final coloured concept. This is my very first Character Sheet and Concept Art.

I started with the sketch/line art, adding multiple layer options for Nettle's clothing for both indoor and outdoor adventures including jewellery, armour and outerwear. I also included a facial references for future use.

I then blocked several colour options for her final design; including her first colour palette (1) and multiple variations that relate to her backstory and the background she comes from.

Finally, I took the majority of 5's palette with a mixture of 4's inner-wear palette to come to my final palette decision. I finally added an open mouth variant of her face to include the colouring of her teeth, tongue and pupils.
